My AI Astrolog Privacy Policy

• Your birth date, time and place are stored on this phone. Your birth chart is calculated on your phone.
• When a reading is created, the calculated astrology facts needed to write it (for example your Sun sign, planet placements and today's sky) are sent over the internet to our server and to an AI provider. The app does not include your birth date, birth time, coordinates or nickname in these requests.
• With "Ask Your Astrologer", the question you type or speak is sent to the AI together with the reading it is about. Do not write personal or sensitive information in that field.
• You do not create an account. On the server side the app uses a random installation ID.
• In Settings > Privacy you can delete the installation record and counters on the server yourself (scope and limits in section 8).
• The app contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting library.
• Cloud backup of the app's data is turned off.

The following is stored by the app on your phone and is not sent to our server:

• Birth date, birth time and time precision, birth place (name, country, coordinates, time zone) — To calculate your birth chart on your phone
• Nickname (optional) — To address you by nickname on screens. Not sent to the AI that writes the reading
• Generated readings, Tarot draws and your records — To show your readings archive
• Language, voice, speed, notification, ambient music and sound-effect preferences — To remember your settings
• Installation key (Android Keystore) — To sign your requests (see 3.3)

The app's data is not included in Android cloud backup or device-to-device transfer. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is deleted.

When you request a reading (Daily, Love, Career, My Emotional World, Who Am I?, Health, Weekly, Tarot) the app prepares the prompt on your phone and sends it over the internet (HTTPS) to our server at api.icerikyoneticisi.com. The prompt contains:

• the reading type, local date and interface language,
• your Sun sign, the birth-time precision category (exact / approximate / unknown) and planet–sign placements,
• today's sky and planetary transits, the moon phase,
• for Tarot, the card you drew and its orientation,
• for "Ask Your Astrologer", the related reading text and the question you typed or spoke.

The server forwards this prompt to an AI provider and returns the answer to you. Reading texts and questions are not stored in the server database. Before sending a question the app warns you not to write personal or sensitive information; still, everything you write in the question field is passed on to the provider. Even if a question is not answered or is declined, it has reached the AI provider because it was sent. So do not write personal details such as your name, address or health information in your question.

On first use the app obtains a random installation ID (UUID) and a signing key from the server. The ID is not tied to a person; it contains no account, email, phone number or name. The key is kept in Android Keystore on your phone and is used to verify that requests come from your installation. For this ID the server keeps: when it was created and last seen, daily and monthly usage counters (how many readings of each kind were requested), and an IP digest to prevent abuse. The IP digest is a pseudonym produced from the IP address with a secret key and shortened; it is stored once, when the installation record is created. The purpose is to apply daily usage allowances and protect the system from abuse. In addition, short-term rate-limit counters are kept in small files on the server, tied to address and installation digests; no raw IP address is written in these records.

When you choose your birth place, the city/country text you type is sent through our server to a location search service (Geoapify), which returns matching candidates. Your phone's location is not used and no location permission is requested.

The microphone permission is requested only when you tap the microphone button on the "Ask Your Astrologer" screen. Audio is not recorded by the app and not sent to our server. Your phone's speech recognition service (on Android usually Google) is used to turn your speech into text; that service may process the audio under its own terms and your phone settings. The resulting text is handled as your question as in 3.2. You can also type your question without using the microphone.

Notifications are optional and off by default. Notification scheduling happens entirely on your phone; no server or push service is used. Notification texts are generic; your birth details or reading content do not appear on the lock screen.

The app can read content such as the "About" and "Welcome" texts from our server. No personal information is sent with these requests; the server still sees your IP address on every connection.

Our server's hosting provider (Hostinger) and, if used, Cloudflare may keep their own access logs for technical operation; these may contain IP addresses. Whether these logs are kept and for how long depends on the providers' terms; we make no commitment on this. The app server's code contains no function that writes reading content or questions to a log.

Some information you enter into the app yourself; some is created technically while the app runs. All of it is collected electronically, only through the My AI Astrolog app and our server. If you write to us, the details in your email are handled separately (see 8).

1. Directly from you. You enter your birth date, time and place, an optional nickname and your settings. This information is stored only on your phone; it is not sent to our server and we cannot access it. In "Ask Your Astrologer", the question you type, or speak and have turned into text, is the only free text that must reach the AI provider to produce the reading.
2. Automatically by the app. The app adds the astrology facts it calculated on your phone to the prompt when you request a reading and sends it to our server. On first use the server gives the app a random installation ID and a signing key; on later requests the app identifies itself with that ID and a signature.
3. By the nature of the connection. On every internet connection our server (and hosting and infrastructure providers) technically sees your IP address.
4. From third-party services. For the birth-place search, Geoapify returns a list of candidate places; you choose from it. The AI provider produces the reading text, which returns to you through our server.
5. What we do not collect. Account, email, phone number, full name, payment details, your phone's location, audio recordings; advertising, analytics or crash-reporting data.

DRAFT — AWAITING LEGAL APPROVAL. The mappings and the statements on transfers abroad in this section are a proposal. Legal review and Product Owner approval are required before publication; this notice will be removed after approval.

We process your personal data under Article 5(2) of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) on the following bases:

• Producing a reading (sending the calculated astrology facts and, if any, your question to our server and the AI provider) and birth-place search (sending the text to Geoapify): directly related to performing the service we provide (Art. 5(2)(c)). These transfers happen only when you request a reading or run a search. [Legal review in progress: K1, K2]
• The installation ID, signature, usage counters, quota reservations and pseudonymous IP digest are used to: apply daily and monthly usage allowances, prevent the same installation from exceeding the limit by deleting and re-obtaining its allowance, detect automated use and abuse, and keep the service secure. A random ID that does not identify you and a pseudonymous digest instead of the raw IP address are used. The controller's legitimate interest (Art. 5(2)(f)) has been proposed as the legal basis for this processing; the basis is not yet final. [Legal review in progress: K1, K3]
• Server and infrastructure access logs: legitimate interest (Art. 5(2)(f)). [Legal review in progress: K1, K3]
• Answering your requests, handling requests and complaints: legal obligation (Art. 5(2)(ç)) and establishment, exercise or protection of a right (Art. 5(2)(e)). Only if you write to us. [Legal review in progress: K1]
• Health or other special-category information you choose to write in your question: no legal basis has been determined for this; a separate assessment under Art. 6 is required. We recommend not writing such information. [Legal review in progress: K4]
• Transfers abroad: AI providers such as OpenAI, Google (speech recognition) and some infrastructure services may be located outside Türkiye; when you request a reading, the relevant information may reach these services. The basis for this transfer under KVKK Art. 9 has not yet been determined; this sentence declares no basis and only states that a transfer exists. [Legal review in progress: K5]

Information stored on your phone (birth details, nickname, readings archive, settings) is processed by the app on your phone; for example, your birth chart is calculated on your phone from this information. It is not sent to our server and we cannot see it. The legal nature and basis of this processing are under legal review. [Legal review in progress: K6]

The app's first closed test is distributed only in Türkiye. This is a distribution decision; it does not mean that other countries' data protection laws (for example the GDPR) can never apply. If distribution is extended to other countries, this policy will be updated.

No processing currently relies on explicit consent. If one becomes necessary, a consent text will be prepared separately and consent will always be withdrawable.

Readings are produced, depending on the server configuration, by one of the following providers:

• a language model running on the developer's own server (access to this server may go through a connection protected via Cloudflare),
• OpenAI,
• NVIDIA.

As of November 2026 the active ones are the language model on the developer's own server and OpenAI; NVIDIA is off. How these providers process prompts, whether they store them and whether they use them to train models depends on their own terms and contracts; we make no firm commitment on this. If the provider list changes we will update this policy.

Other services: Geoapify (location search), Google Play and Android system services (app distribution, speech recognition, text-to-speech). The app uses no ad network, analytics service or crash-reporting service. Google Play may provide the developer with its own crash and usage reports for distribution; these are subject to Google's terms.

Our server is hosted on Hostinger infrastructure. For transfers abroad see 5.

• On your phone: until you delete it, uninstall the app or clear its data.
• On the server, installation record and counters: there is currently no automatic deletion period for the installation record and the daily/monthly counters; they stay until you delete them or your deletion request is processed. These records are not tied to a person.
• On the server, quota reservations and rate-limit files: no automatic deletion is defined for these either at present. A cleanup tool is ready; this section will be updated when retention periods are set.
• Request-signature records: kept to prevent replay attacks; deleted by the next cleanup at the latest (usually minutes).
• Marker after deletion: if you delete your server record, that random ID and the deletion date stay on the server so that the old ID cannot be reused and the daily allowance cannot be reset by deleting; it contains no other information. This marker is currently kept indefinitely and is not deleted automatically. This section will be updated once a retention period is set and automatic deletion has actually started. • Reading texts and questions: not stored in the server database; the database holds only installation, counter, reservation and signature tables.
• At AI providers and infrastructure services: according to the provider's own terms (see 6).

• In the app: you can remove your nickname and edit your birth details. You can delete the installation record and usage counters on the server with Settings > Privacy > Delete My Server Data. If a reading request is running at that moment, you are asked to try again in a few seconds.
• Installations with a Pro entitlement: Pro cannot be purchased in the app. However, if a Pro entitlement has been assigned to an installation and is still active, the server record cannot be deleted from within the app; the deletion request is refused. In that case you can send your deletion request by email as described below. [Legal review in progress: K8 — active Pro entitlement blocking deletion]
• What deletion covers: deletion does not delete the birth details, saved readings and settings on your phone; it does not take back texts previously sent to AI providers; it does not delete short-term rate-limit counters. So that the old ID cannot be reused, only that random ID and the deletion date stay on the server (see 7). If you request a new reading on the same phone, a new random record is created.
• Deleting data on your phone: on Android use Settings > Apps > My AI Astrolog > Storage > Clear data, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling also deletes the installation key on your phone.
• Request by email: for access, correction or deletion requests write to info@icerikyoneticisi.com. The installation ID is random and does not identify you, so matching a request to the app on your phone may not always be possible, and deleting from the app is in practice easier. Requests are answered within the period required by law (at most 30 days under KVKK No. 6698); reasonable identity verification may be needed.
• Rights: depending on the law of your country (for example KVKK No. 6698 in Türkiye, GDPR in the European Economic Area) you may have the right to access, correct, delete your data, object to processing and complain to the competent authority.

We process data for these purposes: running the app and providing you with readings; applying daily usage allowances and preventing abuse; ensuring security; meeting legal obligations.

• My AI Astrolog is a tool for entertainment and self-reflection. Readings are produced by AI and may be wrong; they are not predictions of the future or medical, legal or financial advice. "Health" readings do not offer medical diagnosis or treatment.
• The app is not designed for people under 18.
• Pro membership plans are visible but cannot currently be purchased; the app collects no payment information.
