Immobility Detection
Sometimes silence is the loudest sound. If there has been no movement for a long time, Companion notices. If we don't hear from you for a long time, it tries to reach you and starts the help process.
Smart Immobility Analysis
It analyzes not just movement, but the absence of movement. It continuously monitors the phone's accelerometer and activity data and detects unusual silences.
Adjustable Time Threshold
Set the immobility threshold to match your own level of risk. 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours or 12 hours — you decide.
It Asks You First — "Are You OK?"
When the threshold time is reached, the system doesn't raise the alarm right away. It asks you first: Are you OK? If you respond, the process ends. You stay in control.
About the Module
Immobility Detection is Companion's passive safety module. It steps in when no meaningful movement is detected on your phone for the period you set. This module doesn't look for an event; it looks for something missing — a silence. When the time is up it asks you "Are you OK?", and if there is no answer it automatically starts the emergency help process. Night Mode prevents false alarms while you sleep, and it works together with Fall Detection to double your safety.
If I faint, nobody may notice. If I have a heart attack, I may not be able to ask for help. Living alone, I could stay motionless for hours. Health problems that happen without a fall can go unnoticed.
Immobility Detection checks on you if there is no movement for the period you set, and if there is no answer it automatically starts the emergency help process together with your location.

If I Faint, Nobody May Notice
Events that unfold silently usually go unnoticed.
In cases of fainting, diabetic coma or loss of consciousness, the people around you usually don't notice. Immobility Detection detects this silence and starts the help process.
How It Works
How Does Immobility Detection Work?
Notice the silence in three steps — if you can't speak, the system speaks.

What Immobility Detection Can Do
Every capability is designed to solve a real need.
There was no fall, but the silence said something was wrong.
An Elderly User Fainted on the Sofa — Immobility Detection Noticed the Long Silence
Ahmet, 75, who lives alone, suddenly fainted while sitting on the sofa. There was no fall, and his phone was in his pocket. After 2 hours without any movement, Immobility Detection asked "Are you OK?" When there was no answer, an emergency notification with his location was sent to his son, who rushed home and got his father to the hospital in time.

When a User with Diabetes Lost Consciousness, the System Informed Her Family
Zeynep, 60, who has diabetes, lost consciousness after a sudden drop in blood sugar. Her phone was on the table beside her and didn't move at all. When the 1-hour threshold was reached, Immobility Detection asked "Are you OK?" Getting no answer, it sent her location and status to her daughter.

An Immobility Alert Came While a User Was Reading — They Said "I'm OK"
A young user was reading for a long time and the phone didn't move at all. After the 2-hour threshold, Immobility Detection asked: "Are you OK?" The user answered "I'm OK" and the system ended the process. No false alarm.
Learn MoreThe user slept peacefully; the system worked outside sleeping hours.
Night Mode Stayed On All Night — No Alarms During Sleep
The user had set Night Mode from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During those hours Immobility Detection stayed paused, even with no movement at all. At 7:01 AM, with still no movement, it started the check process. When the user woke up, they said "I'm OK" and ended the process.
Learn MoreTwo modules working together provided seamless safety.
Fall Detection Noticed the Fall, Immobility Detection Confirmed It — Working Together
The user fell down the stairs and lost consciousness. Fall Detection detected the fall and immediately asked the user. When there was no answer, Immobility Detection stepped in and confirmed the lack of movement. Working together, the two modules started the emergency help process.
