About the Module
Emergency & Reminder Contacts is Companion's central contact management module. It offers two separate lists: Emergency Contacts and Reminder Contacts. Decide separately who is alerted in an emergency and who receives daily reminders. Verify contact details with a test email and Telegram integration. Copy people between the Emergency and Reminder lists with a single tap. Build a secure contact network with escalation order, active/inactive contacts and Parent PIN protection. Communication is part of safety.
I don't know who should be notified in an emergency. I don't want every notification to go to the same person. I can't be sure an email address really works. Adding the same person over and over wastes time.

The user missed a Check-in Time. Emergency & Reminder Contacts first informed their spouse (Emergency Contact 1). When the spouse didn't answer, it notified the second Emergency Contact, their daughter, who called right away to check. The communication chain worked without a break.
