What does System Status check?
It checks the system information and critical Android permissions Companion needs to work correctly. RAM, storage, battery, processor, Android version, device model, Companion version and app permissions are analyzed.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. The system analysis runs on your device and doesn't need an internet connection.
Can I see missing permissions?
Yes. Missing or disabled permissions are easy to see on a single screen. It shows which permission is off and how to turn it on.
Does it show my device information?
Yes. RAM, storage, battery, Android version, device model, processor information and app version can all be viewed.
Can the system status be refreshed?
Yes. The analysis can be re-run whenever you like. Tap the "Refresh" button to get the current system status.
Can it be used without opening the app?
Yes. It can be run from the Orbital Menu and the Quick Access Menu without opening the Companion app.
Which Android permissions are checked?
The Display over other apps, Exact Alarm, Location, Notification and Battery Optimization Exemption permissions are checked. These permissions are critical for Companion to work fully and without interruption.
