Frequently Asked Questions

What is Special Days?

Special Days is the life memory module of the Companion app. It keeps track of important date-based events such as birthdays, anniversaries, memorial days, and insurance and contract renewals, reminds you when the time comes and can start automatic communication when needed.

Does the same event repeat automatically every year?

Yes. Recurring events such as a birthday, anniversary or memorial day are created only once, and the system tracks them automatically every year. No more creating the same entry over and over.

Do I only need to save a day once?

Yes. Recurring events (such as birthdays and anniversaries) are saved once and the system tracks them automatically for years. For one-time events, you can create a new entry each time.

How far in advance can I get a reminder?

It offers a preparation period that can start 1, 3, 5, 7, 14 or 30 days in advance, so you can plan a gift, message or celebration without the last-minute rush.

How does automatic communication work?

If you wish, automatic emails or notifications can be sent to the people you choose. For example, you get a reminder on your mother's birthday and, if you like, an automatic message can be sent. This feature is rarely found in ordinary calendar apps.

Which categories can I create reminders in?

There are 23+ ready-made categories for birthdays, anniversaries, memorial days, insurance, contracts, bills, rent payments, car maintenance, pet vaccination schedules, prescription renewals, school enrollment dates, graduations, retirement and more.

How is Special Days different from ordinary calendar apps?

Special Days doesn't just show dates. It gives important days meaning, lets you know as they approach, gives you time to prepare and starts automatic communication when needed. Ordinary calendar apps only send a notification; Special Days turns a reminder into action.
