How does Fall Detection detect a fall?
Fall Detection uses your phone's accelerometer and gyroscope sensors. It performs three-stage verification: Free Fall, Impact and Immobility. When all three conditions occur together, the event is flagged as a possible fall.
What can I do about a false alarm?
When a fall is detected, the system asks you first: Are you OK? If you answer I'm OK, the alarm is canceled. You can also reduce false alarms by adjusting the sensitivity and waiting time to the way you use your phone.
Can I change the sensitivity?
Yes. You can adjust the sensitivity entirely to the way you use your phone — low for delicate settings, high for risky activities. You're in control.
Can I adjust the waiting time?
Yes. You decide how long to wait after a fall is detected before the emergency help process starts. You can choose a short time for emergencies and a longer one for minor falls.
Who gets notified?
When the emergency process starts, notifications are sent to the emergency contacts you've chosen via SMS, email and Telegram. The message includes the event details, the time and your location.
Does it work while driving, riding a motorcycle or cycling?
Yes. Fall Detection is designed to work in cars, on motorcycles and bicycles, and during outdoor activities too. It protects you in accidents that can happen while you're on the move.
Does it work without the internet?
Fall detection itself works without the internet. However, emergency notifications (SMS, email, Telegram) need an active internet connection or SMS service to be sent. Notifications go out through the most suitable channel.
