Frequently Asked Questions

What is Emergency Profile?

Emergency Profile is the personal profile module in Companion that keeps your identity, health and emergency-response details in one place. During an alarm, this information is sent together with your location to your Emergency Contacts, giving the help process important context.

What information is stored?

Your name, email, phone, blood type, health notes (allergies, chronic conditions), special concerns, home address, vehicle details (license plate, make) and personal notes (door code, access information) are stored.

Why does blood type matter?

A transfusion may be needed in an emergency. Knowing your blood type shortens the response time and ensures the right blood is used. Emergency Profile keeps your blood type ready.

Who are my health notes shared with?

Health notes are shared with your Emergency Contacts only in emergency scenarios (a missed Check-in Time, Fall Detection, Immobility Detection or SOS). In everyday use, this information stays private.

What information is sent during an alarm?

During an alarm, your name, email, phone, blood type, health notes (allergies, chronic conditions) and any personal notes are sent to your Emergency Contacts together with your location.

Can I update my profile later?

Yes. You can update your profile at any time. If your health changes or your contact details change, update them right away.

Is my information stored securely?

Yes. All your profile information is stored in Companion's secure infrastructure and protected so that only you — and, in an emergency, the Emergency Contacts you've authorized — can access it.
