Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between an Emergency Contact and a Reminder Contact?
Emergency Contacts are the people alerted in critical situations such as a missed Check-in Time, Fall Detection, Immobility Detection or an SOS. Reminder Contacts only receive daily reminders (medication, tasks, special days) and aren't disturbed by emergency notifications.
Can I use the same person on both lists?
Yes. You can copy someone from the Emergency list to the Reminder list, or the other way round, with a single tap. You can also add the same person to both lists manually.
How do I test an email address?
Emergency & Reminder Contacts lets you send a test email before a contact is saved. Tap "Send Test Email" to send a test message to the address you entered and verify that it works.
How do I connect Telegram?
There's a Telegram username field in Emergency & Reminder Contacts. Enter a Telegram username so notifications can also be received on Telegram, creating a second communication channel alongside email.
Can I temporarily deactivate contacts?
Yes. With Active / Inactive management you can temporarily disable a contact without deleting them, and reactivate them when needed to manage your contact network flexibly.
In what order are notifications sent?
With the escalation system, Emergency Contacts are informed in the order you set. If the first person can't be reached, the second steps in; if the second can't be reached, the third. A controlled communication chain is created.
How can I protect critical contact records?
Emergency & Reminder Contacts offers Parent PIN protection for critical Emergency Contact records, so unauthorized people can't edit or delete them. Your secure contact network stays protected.
