Frequently Asked Questions
What is Activity Log Center?
Activity Log Center is the black box system that records every important event in Companion. Check-ins, reminders, location events, fall detections, notification deliveries and error records are gathered in one place.
Which events are recorded?
Check-in Time check-in and alarm processes, completed Reminders, Location Reminder triggers, Fall Detection and Immobility Detection events, email and Telegram delivery results, system errors and permission states are recorded.
Can I delete log records?
Log records are cleaned up automatically after 7 days. Manual deletion isn't supported, which keeps the audit records intact. When you need to, you can export the logs by sharing them.
How do I share the log file?
Tap the share button on the Activity Log Center screen to share the log file by email, message or cloud storage. Support teams use this file to analyze the problem quickly.
Can I see whether an email was delivered successfully?
Yes. Activity Log Center shows email delivery results as Successful, Partially Successful or Failed. You can see in detail who was reached and who wasn't.
How do I keep track of permission problems?
Once a day, Activity Log Center automatically checks your Notification permission, Battery Optimization, Overlay permission and Exact Alarm permission. It shows missing permissions as warnings and guides you to fix them.
When are old log records cleaned up?
Log records older than 7 days are cleaned up automatically, so storage doesn't fill up for no reason. You can export and keep any important logs you need by sharing them.
